The Less Mobile Services (LMS's) were founded to help people with mobility problems and to offer people with a low-income means of transportation..

Usually it concerns people with a handicap, retired people or people with some kind of social needs who want to visit their family, need to see a doctor or have to go to the shop. Volunteers who are available for a few days or hours make this service possible. The requests are coordinated by a permanence that can be reached by telephone.

The use of LMS is only for people with an income of maximum two times the subsistence level. Also, there shouldn't be any means of public transport on the requested route that is accessible for the user. Yearly you pay 7 Euro membership, which includes the insurances.

The volunteers need to be in the possession of a valid drivers license and insurance. Taxistop has a global insurance for all the volunteers, which covers all damage to the driver's vehicle even when the driver is in fault. He or she will receive of the user a maximum of 0,30 Euro per km, of which 0,038 Euro covers the global insurance.
